Fitzgerald Presents Cheque to Children’s Hospital on behalf of Siopa Lara
Siopa Lara boutique is based in the Bawnogue Enterprise Centre and Lara asked that the funds be allocated towards Meningitis Research.
“Over the last year or so we have seen Lara Darby become a real influence in Clondalkin – and I don’t just mean in terms of fashion,” said Minister Frances Fitzgerald.
"Lara opened her popular boutique almost a year ago and I was delighted to officially perform the opening for her. Since then she has organised two successful fashion shows for worthy causes and I was delighted to lend my support to her Christmas fashion show which has just contributed over €3,000 to the Children’s Medical and Research Foundation,” said Minister Frances Fitzgerald.
“Lara has some fabulous fashions in her store in Clondalkin and well known labels are on offer at great prices. With a huge selection of dresses and evening wear as well as wonderful two piece suits, there is something for everyone in Siopa Lara. Her facebook page is continually updated with her latest range and I am keen to do all I can to encourage people into local shops such as this. It is fantastic to see brave business people like Lara starting up in a recession and I wish her every continued success. I would urge anyone with a special occasion coming up to pop down to the Bawnogue Enterprise Centre and sample her high end outfits at affordable prices,” said Minister Fitzgerald.
“Her fashion show was a massive success and a fantastic nigh. The local models made this event even more special and the fact that over €3,000 was raised for the Children’s Medical and Research Foundati showed how worthwhile community events like this can be," concluded Fitzgerald.
