Fitzgerald invites local businesses to breakfast event with Minister Bruton

Local TD and Minister for Children and Youth Affairs, Frances Fitzgerald, is hosting a business breakfast in Finnstown House Hotel, Lucan on the 30th of January. The morning, in conjunction with Dublin Mid-West Fine Gael, will hear from Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation, Richard Bruton who will discuss job creation and opportunities for businesses in 2014.

The event will take place in Finnstown House Hotel, Lucan at 8 a.m. on Thursday 30th January, with registration starting at 7.30 and a light breakfast being served. TO REGISTER CALL 4577712 or email frances.fitzgerald@oir.ie.

Minister Fitzgerald said: “recent indicators attest to the fact that the Irish economy is improving, therefore the time is ripe to have a discussion with business operators to see how we can increase this momentum and keep growing our economy and creating jobs.

“Fine Gael understands the importance of businesses, and this Government knows that local SMEs are the engine of our current and future prosperity. For that reason, we are delighted that so many local businesses have registered to attend this important event and give their vital feedback.

“Minister Bruton is a very hands-on Minister who believes that engaging directly with business operators gives him the best possible information to do his job well. I am delighted that he accepted my invitation to meet with the hard-working businesses in Dublin Mid-West, because this type of two-way conversation gives us as Government Ministers the on-the-ground expertise we need to keep improving the Irish business environment.

“If any businesses wish to attend this breakfast event, please contact my full-time constituency office on 4577712 or email frances.fitzgerald@oir.ie with your details. I look forward to this discussion, which I hope will prove fruitful and will play a part in this Government’s ongoing economic strategy,” concluded Fitzgerald.
