Minister featured in NCBI Spring Newsletter

Local TD Frances Fitzgerald, Minister for Children & Youth Affairs, featured in the Spring Edition of the NCBI (National Council for the Blind of Ireland) Newsletter, having attended a fundraiser in Clondalkin for the local Early Learning Centre.

Phil and Eugene Breslin, the grandparents of Aoibhinn Breslin, who attends the Early
Learning Centre, organised a fundraising night in the Steering Wheel Pub in Clondalkin on 7th
December 2013.

Pub owner Frank Kelly kindly provided the function room and supper free of charge. The night was a huge success and the total amount raised was €2,105, which included one cheque for €600, which was presented by Phil’s sister Ann Tyrrell, Mullingar Golf Club Lady Captain 2013, who nominated the Early Learning Centre as her chosen charity.
