Frances Fitzgerald works with Cllr. William Lavelle and members from right across the Lucan parish to help grow the sense of community in the village and its surrounding areas.
Frances organises an annual event to mark Breast Cancer Awareness Month in Lucan. She has campaigned with Cllr. William Lavelle on a number of planning issues in the area and supports local organisations including the Lucan Festival, Lucan Lions Club, Lucan Sarsfield GAA Club, Pieta House,
LDAG, Lucan Planning Council and the Griffeen Community Action Group as well as a number of mother and toddler organisations and youth clubs in the area.
Frances has been keen to support the need to protect and enhance the Liffey Valley area and has been progressing this at national level. Frances also works closely with parents and teachers to help deliver adequate school accommodation for the area.
She has been working with Cllr. Lavelle to support the Lucan Business Network and the village initiative in Lucan. She has supported fundraisers and community events in Griffeen and continues to be a vocal representative for the Lucan area.
