    Fitzgerald welcomes commitment for 2015 funding for Balgaddy Child & Family Centre

    Local TD Frances Fitzgerald, Minister for Justice & Equality, has today (20th January) welcomed the commitment by Tusla, the national Child and Family Agency, to provide funding for the Balgaddy Child & Family Centre for 2015.

    She said:

    “In October last, I facilitated the visit to Balgaddy Child & Family Centre of Gordon Jeyes, CEO of Tusla, the national Child and Family Agency, in order to assess the best and most viable options for maintaining the Centre's important role in the local community.

    - CSO figures show 10.6% unemployment rate nationally following continuous decline over the past 3 years
